Father and son, reading in the biblioteca at the Center. The library is open to the local (and broader) community–people come from around the corner and sometimes from across the city to use our library. Unlike the U.S., libraries aren’t commonly spotted in neighborhoods, and many schools lack them. If they do have one, they are often limited collections. Students of all ages can use research books here, parents can take advantage of the large selection of children’s books, and youth or adults can find both fiction and non-fiction books.
