Ansony is a familiar, smiling face at the Cultural Center of Batahola Norte. He started coming here probably around 10 years ago, completing the Basic Adult Education course, and taking painting classes. He now paints most days from his home in the barrio–beautiful scenes of Nicaragua, using the Primitivist style developed with the help of Ernesto Cardenal during the 1970s. Ansony is a great friend to many, and eager to help out wherever needed.
Along with other talented artists trained at the Cultural Center, Ansony is always looking for a market for his work, and accepts commissions. If you are interested in buying some artwork, contact us!
